What is All-Welded Honeycomb?
ASTECH’s All-Welded Honeycomb is a lightweight, high-strength, and heat-resistant material designed specifically for challenging areas of an aircraft or engine. The unique “honeycomb sandwich” structure makes it lighter than other materials with the same volume, but with greater stiffness and strength.
Our unique production process of All-Welded Honeycomb panels, compared to that of brazed or adhesive-bonded panels, coupled with outstanding welding, forming, and heat treat capabilities, allows us to achieve extremely complex geometries. Our panels are constructed with titanium, stainless steel, or nickel-alloys, to fit any customer needs.
